What does it cost to join GayBids.com?
Currently, there are no sign up fees to join GayBids.com
- I just signed up... Why is there $50.00 in my account?
We want you to try our website and enjoy its features. Upon signing up with us, each new user automatically receives a $50.00 signup bonus for trying our website. Of course, browsing our website is always free and making any purchase or bidding on any auction is also free but if you want to sell, you will need money in your GayBids.com account.
Once your account has depleted, you will need to credit your GayBids.com account by going to the members area, and selecting "Manage Account" under the "My Account" section. In this area you will be able to add funds using multiple options that are available.
- I still have some money in my account, why can't I place a listing?
If your account is low on funds ($5.00 or less) you will not be able to place a listing. You will need to add funds to your account so that any fees associated with any new auctions are properly funded.
- What does it cost to place a listng on GayBids.com?
Currently, placing an auction on the website is FREE. There are no listing fees. Please remember that the final value fee still applies when your auction has a successful bidder. You can see what percentage is deducted from your account by clicking the "Fees" tab above.
- What fees apply when I do place an auction with GayBids.com?
The only fees that apply are final value fees and if you select any of the premium features such as an additional category, bold, highlight, subtitle, etc. You can find the premium options and their related fees on our fees page by simply clicking the "Fees" tab above.
- What if there aren't any winners when I place a basic listing?
If you place a basic listing with no premium features, there are no final value fees and any relisting of that auction is still free.
- What if I choose a premium option when I list my auction and there aren't any winners?
You will not be charged any final value fees if there are no winners. You will however be charged for any premium options you selected when you first placed your auction. If your item is relisted (either by manually relisting or by automatic relisting) these premium option's will once again be debited from your account. Please keep in mind that Premium auction options will be charged with each successive listing if these options are chosen upon placing your listing.

Currently, there are no listing fees.
This fee applies only if you select more than one category to list your auction (step 2 in the selling process). By choosing more than one category, you increase your chances of selling your item(s). Please keep in mind that you may not sell the same item in seperate categories. If you have on physical item and you list it in one category, you may not list the same item in another category unless you choose this feature. Duplicate items in multiple categories may be deleted by the website moderator and no refunds will be given.
Using images to sell your item(s) are the best way to get them sold! If you choose to upload images to our servers for your auction, the image upload fee shall apply. This fee applies to each image you upload for us to serve on your auction page.
Should you choose to serve your auction image from a different location ie: a different server (you need to have html coding knowledge)please do not select this option and instead, use html coding to serve that image on your auction page. If you choose this method, no image fees shall apply.
Please keep in mind that all images on GayBids.com must comply with our terms of service and international Copyright laws.
Select this option if you want to make your auction more visible. Your auction will be highlighted in yellow in all sections that contain your auction listing.
Select Bold Item if you would like the title of your auction to appear in bold lettering in all places it is listed.
Select this premium feaure to have your auction listed at the top of the selected category surrounded in a red box. This option makes your auction stand out. There are limited spaces for category featured auctions therefore, all category featured auctions are evenly rotated on each page refresh. Each time someone browsing that category returns to it to view the auctions listed, a new set of category featured auctions are displayed.
Select this option to have your auction appear on the homepage. This option REALLY makes your auction stand out above the rest! There are limited spaces with homepage featured auctions therefore, all homepage featured auctions are evenly rotated on each page refresh. Each time someone visiting the website to login, join, or just returns to the home page, a new set of category featured auctions are displayed. This is a super premium option as your auction will appear front and center!
Select this option if you elect to set a reserve price for your auction. In other words, you will not sell your item for anything less than the price you choose. This way, if you start your auction off low ie: $1.00 to create some buzz, you can choose a reserve price if you really don't want to sell your item for less than $15.00. Enter the lowest amount that you are willing to sell your item for.
This feature is currently in its development phase and is currently unavailable.
Select this option if you want bidders to buy your item at a set price right away. Choosing this method allows a bidder to simply purchase your item at the "Buy Now" price rather than bid and wait on your auction to finish before they are able to purchase it.
As a seller, you can choose this premium feature to allow potential bidders to "make an offer" for the item you are selling. You can choose to deny or accept the offer. If you accept the offer, the auction will end and you can complete the transaction with the offeror.
- Auction Start on First Bid Fee:
Many times a seller would like to keep an auction alive until someone actually bids on the item. This unique feature will actually save you a substantial amount of selling fees by keeping the original auction listed until there is an actual bidder. Once someone bids on the item, the auction will begin and run through its intended auction duration.

Sellers can choose to start their auctions at a later time and date. Select this option if you would like to start your auction a day, week, or even month away.
With this premium feature, you can upload a short video to further promote or describe your auction.
This feature is currently in its development phase and is currently unavailable.
With this option, you can further describe your auction by providing a short description of your auction under the title. This will appear in every listing that your auction is displayed. Using a subtitle has been shown to increase sales!
The following items are prohibited from being posted on GayBids.com. Should you place an auction featuring these items, your account may be suspended or terminated and you may be completely blocked from using the site in the future. We ask that you follow these guideliness so that we can provide a safe, legal trading enviorment. Please keep in mind that you are ultimately responsible for any auctions that you list on our website.
We ask that if you happen to see any auctions that contain any item on our prohibited items list, please contact us by clicking the "contact" link at the bottom of this page. Please provide the username and auction number of the potentially offending auction. Please be advised that you may or may not receive a reply to your notification, but rest assured that we will look into any possible offense you reported with regards to our prohibited auction list.
We are not responsible for auctions that you list (see our terms of service). Should you violate the law, and we are presented by a court order (subpeona), we may be required by law to provide personally identifiable information to the requesting competent law enforcement agency. Please see our privacy policy should you have any questions regarding your personal information.

- Urine, Feces, Bodily Fluids (this includes blood, puke, and cum)
- Weapons of any kind
- People. You may not sell yourself or others and this includes escort services.
- Drugs of any kind
- Videos, depictions, or photgraphs that feature anyone under the age of 18. This is a big one and it will definitely get you banned and reported to authorities.
- Anything with beastiality real or simulated. Please do not list auctions containing animals in sexual situations.
- You may not sell any real currency - The exception is vintage coins etc. in our non-adult section.
- You may not sell passports, identification cards, police related items
- Weapons or ammunition, this includes knives, swords, & nuclear bombs.
- Any item that violates the copyright of another.
